Black and White is dominating the fashion world this season. With the Picasso: Black and White exhibition at the Guggenheim in New York displaying this spring, it comes as no surprise that designers, such as Helmut Lang have sought cultural references from the show.
On this note, and following from the dark turbulence of last season, black was the key feature to this photography shoot for Fabryan. Black inspired the makeup, backdrop and also the designs of the clothing to create a bold and sexy shoot.
With the large chain necklace situated around the model’s neck and leather details upon the dress, there seems to be debt to 1980’s punk. However, least we not forget that this is luxury fashion, not a DIY session before the Blitz Club London headquarters for all die hard punks.
And luxury it is. The atelier and quality of Fabryan’s dresses are stunning, sophisticated and seductive. We celebrate the architecture of the female body. All of her dresses are made to order, ensuring they rejoice in the unique shape of their owner.
