Last week was one of the best week of the fashion calendar. Everyone, from bloggers to press, editors to photographers, buyers to fashion enthusiasts, turn their attention to London for the capital’s Fashion Week.
London is growing from strength to strength with traditional brand Burberry leading the way in a fashion technology. Although the high street retailer Topshop is right at their heels with their collaboration with Google, which enabled customers to experience the catwalk from all angles, including cameras being attached the model’s clothing. It is indeed a fascinating and exciting time for Fashion. But also, young and upcoming designers such as Holly Fulton and recently bought by PPR, Christopher Kane also motivate urgency for buyers to touch down in London town.
Some may even say London matches up to the New York, Milan and Paris. Creativity and style dominated the scenes of London Fashion Week. And with Help A Capital Child London fashion week closing party on Tuesday evening, the week came to a successful and charitable close.
We hope you enjoyed London Fashion Week as much as we did. We cannot wait to see what Paris has in store, and whether it can live up to the remarkable show that London put on.
